Vestas Shared Services Centre (SSC) delivers essential processing services to Vestas operations globally, focusing on Finance & Accounting, Master Data Management, Procurement, Global Service Support, and Remote Operations.

Team Overview
The team operates under the Global Finance division of Vestas SSC, primarily offering standardized, rule-based services tailored to regional needs. This encompasses comprehensive processes related to fixed assets.

Collaboration
Close collaboration is expected with Regional Finance, Payroll & Treasury Departments, as well as other SSC functions such as Accounts Payable/Receivable, Treasury, and Controlling and Reporting.

Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and optimize end-to-end Fixed Asset Accounting processes and procedures in Finance and Accounting, including investment order creation, capitalization, settlements, depreciation, and asset rollforward.
- Manage complex entities and execute finance processing of Fixed Assets in accordance with established Vestas Standard Operating Procedures and Financial Guidelines.
- Proactively engage with colleagues and business stakeholders to swiftly resolve operational issues.
- Conduct analytical reviews to ensure KPIs and PPIs are met for assigned regions.
- Prepare and submit SAP GRC control documentation in a timely manner.
- Serve as Deputy Team Lead and Subject Matter Expert, assisting with stakeholder management and team support.
- Drive initiatives for the clean-up of Fixed Assets and Lease accounts.
- Facilitate updates on Standard Operating Procedures and actively participate in process hearings.
- Maintain up-to-date process flows for country exceptions within the team.
- Participate in internal and external audits as a representative.
- Train new hires and facilitate refresher training across teams.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy.
- Background in Fixed Assets, General Ledger functions, Reporting, or Controlling.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in BPO or Shared Services is preferred.
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies is a plus.
- Certifications such as CPA, CMA, or CIA are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving orientation.
- Flexibility to work on holidays and various shifts as needed.
- Willingness to travel and a positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to diverse personalities and manage time effectively to prioritize tasks.
- Independent worker with minimal supervision required.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
