Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Anesthesiologist Nurse Specialist to join our team at The Hospitals of Providence at East in El Paso, Texas. As a key member of our anesthesia department, you will be responsible for administering anesthetic care to facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.

About the Role:

  • You will perform and document pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients.
  • You will develop and implement individualized anesthetic plans of care, including monitoring modalities and post-anesthesia follow-up evaluation and care.
  • You will select, obtain, and administer anesthetic agents, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of anesthesia approved by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working in a physician office is required.

Certifications:

  • Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists is mandatory.
  • A valid Nursing License or compact state license, with the ability to become Licensed in the applicable state within 30 days, is required.
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are also necessary.

Estimated Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
