We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Admissions Registrar to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing registrations, authorizations, and quote prices for services within the Manatee Healthcare System. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform registrations, authorizations, and quote prices for services within the Manatee Healthcare System
  • Communicate with patients and healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely registration
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient registration processes
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Medical Terminology required
  • EMR Knowledge and medical coding experience needed
  • Attention to detail and time management skills required
  • Prior Registration experience required
  • Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
