About the Role

E2 Optics is a leading technology integrator, headquartered in Denver, Colorado, and we're seeking a skilled Fiber Splicer to join our team. As a Fiber Splicer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing overall jobsite productivity, safety, and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the project team with installation activities, including pathway construction, rough-in, routing, and Telecommunication Room buildout.
  • Terminate and splice all fiber optic cable on site as required.
  • Read and understand splice records and effectively splice fibers in accordance with those records.
  • Proactively maintain job site organization and basic housekeeping, including organizing materials, tools, and equipment, collecting debris, and addressing hazardous conditions.
  • Read and interpret floorplans, drawings, specifications, and cutsheets.
  • Furcate large strand count fiber and perform break fixes, troubleshoot, and read splice records and blueprints.
  • Maintain compliance with customer security requirements and exhibit professional appearance and behavior.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • OSHA30 certification within the first 2 weeks in role.
  • BICSI Installer 2 Fiber certification preferred.
  • Read, write, and understand English, with bilingualism a plus.
  • 3+ years of work experience in Structured Cabling, Installing, Terminating, and Splicing.
  • Minimum 1 year of work experience in a fiber splicing role or industry-related construction.
  • Single and Ribbon Fiber splicing experience required.
  • Experience with ISP and OSP.
