Architectural Project Leader

Position Overview:
Colliers Engineering & Design is actively seeking a skilled Architect to enhance our team. We pride ourselves on our collaborative approach, working closely with clients to transform their visions into reality. Our comprehensive services span from initial planning and feasibility assessments to final design and construction oversight, catering to a diverse range of sectors including commercial development, educational institutions, public works, and retail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.
- Develop and produce complete construction documentation.
- Research and evaluate materials, collaborating with manufacturers to assess costs and quality.
- Work alongside the Project Manager to uphold design quality assurance and quality control.
- Coordinate with other design professionals, whether in-house or subcontracted, involved in the project.
- Participate in client meetings, documenting discussions and decisions.
- Review and respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and submittals.
- Contribute to the preparation of proposals and client presentation materials.
- Guide and mentor junior design team members in their assigned tasks.
- Conduct site visits to support construction administration activities.
- Assist the Project Manager with work planning and budgeting processes.
- Support fee preparation, project scoping, and marketing strategies.
- Engage directly with clients for project coordination and feedback.
- Act as the on-site representative for the project.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in architecture from an accredited institution is essential.
- Registration as an Architect is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant architectural experience is required.
- Proficiency in Revit is necessary.
- Mentoring capabilities are advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required for effective communication in job-related contexts.
