Role Summary:
We are in search of a Senior Business Relationship Support Specialist within the Commercial Middle Market Banking SBA Division. This role involves:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing a diverse and intricate portfolio of clients.
  • Collaborating with management to oversee account portfolios.
  • Identifying areas for operational enhancements within the portfolio.
  • Analyzing customer account decision-making processes to assess profitability and risk.
  • Ensuring compliance and addressing any identified issues.
  • Resolving complex customer inquiries and challenges.
  • Partnering with management to address issues and provide updates on resolutions.
  • Gaining proficiency in policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
  • Leading a team and acting as a subject matter expert within the department.

  • Exercising independent judgment while deepening understanding of functions, policies, and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Business Relationship Support or equivalent experience.
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with Small Business Administration (SBA) Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Policies.
  • Experience with SBA 7a and 504 Lending.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to quickly grasp business operations and processes.
  • Understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) regulations.
  • Experience in commercial banking and credit.
  • Capability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • Customer service-oriented with a keen ability to understand client needs and propose solutions.
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient in managing client relationships.
  • A BS/BA degree or higher is preferred.
  • Ability to identify cross-sell opportunities and engage in moderately complex customer transactions.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial or specialty group servicing operations.
  • Familiarity with systems supporting Commercial Banking clients.
