Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze benefits trends, legislation, and best practices to inform benefit plan design and implementation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement comprehensive benefit plans, including qualified and non-qualified plans, retirement and pension plans, and other employee benefits.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure high-quality benefit administration.
  • Develop and implement tools, models, and procedures to align with our total rewards strategy and improve benefit delivery.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to management on benefits-related matters, including plan design, administration, and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging best practices to ensure our benefit plans remain competitive and compliant.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in benefits strategy and design, with a focus on employee benefits, pension administration, and vendor management.
  • Proven knowledge of benefits theory, regulations, and practices, including ERISA, project management concepts, and performance management.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop recommendations to inform benefit plan design and implementation.
  • Designation or progress towards related certifications, such as CEBS, CBP, or FLMI, is desirable.
