Job Description

Vector Atomic is seeking a highly skilled and versatile R&D Engineer to join our team of innovators. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and testing ultraprecise quantum devices for various applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop optical, electrical, and vacuum systems
  • Integrate electronics controllers with sensors
  • Set up test equipment and automate data collection
Requirements:
  • Engineering degree and 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Strong understanding of quantum systems and their applications
  • Hands-on experience with lasers, optics, electronics, and vacuum systems
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and collaborators
Preferred Skills:
  • Laser and optical system prototyping
  • Electronic test instrumentation
  • System integration and debugging
  • Basic bring-up of PCB boards
  • Electromechanical design and build
