- Collaborate with a diverse group of students, customizing services to cater to their specific needs and developmental levels.
- Assess and support students in areas of speech, articulation, fluency, and language acquisition, using a comprehensive approach to foster their communication abilities.
- Work closely with classroom educators and other staff to implement focused interventions, ensuring a unified strategy for student advancement.
- Conduct evaluations and provide detailed reports that emphasize strengths and areas for growth, concentrating on voice, speech, and fluency for informed decision-making.
- Create individualized treatment plans with a focus on the child and family, taking into account the unique circumstances of each student and their family.
- Actively engage in and/or lead Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, offering valuable insights and suggestions to aid students' communication objectives.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and/or State/Federal regulations, ensuring the protection of sensitive information related to children and their families.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a related field.
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology (SLP) license.
- Previous experience in a clinical or educational context is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and other professionals.
