- Establish a positive learning environment and respond to the individual needs of students.
- Ensure that all activities conform to interlocal guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with all members of the interlocal and community.
- Work effectively with community organizations.
- Appropriately operate all equipment.
- Respond to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned.
- Support the value of an education.
- Support the mission and goals of the interlocal.
- Complete required reports in a timely manner as required by law.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Master's degree from an accredited college/university.
- Current Kansas Speech Pathologist License on file in the Central Office.
- Health and Inoculation Certificate on file in the Central Office.
- Desire to continue career improvement.
- Demonstrate or develop basic computer literacy skills.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of interlocal prescribed computer-based reporting systems.
The Speech Language Pathologist will work in a variety of settings, including schools and community organizations. The position requires prolonged sitting or standing, occasional physical exertion, and the ability to drive. The Speech Language Pathologist must also be able to work in noisy and crowded environments.
