Position Overview

We are seeking a remarkable individual to join our ranks as a Senior Housekeeper. This role requires a dedicated individual who exemplifies our core values while ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness in our properties. The Senior Housekeeper will collaborate closely with the local management team and provide guidance to fellow team members.

This position is seasonal, with potential for full-time opportunities based on performance and company expansion. Weekly hours may fluctuate according to business demands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly clean and maintain Vacasa properties in accordance with established company protocols.
  • Create a welcoming atmosphere for guests and homeowners by ensuring all spaces are pristine.
  • Identify and document any property damages, generating maintenance requests as needed.
  • Mentor and support both new and existing housekeeping staff.
  • Conduct inspections of completed cleaning tasks.
  • Perform touch-up cleans as required.
  • Foster open, collaborative relationships with team members and management.
  • Maintain regular communication with the local management team.
  • Assist colleagues and management as necessary.
  • Provide coverage for the manager and co-senior housekeepers when needed.
  • Manage waste collection and disposal.
  • Meet and uphold established housekeeping performance metrics.
  • Participate in all mandatory meetings.
  • Restock consumable items such as toiletries and paper products.
  • Maintain hot tubs as required; training will be provided.
  • Other duties as assigned, as each day presents unique challenges.

  • Reliable transportation.
  • Smartphone and personal email access.
  • Ability to drive in various weather conditions.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.

  • Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred, but we are willing to train.
  • Physical ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach overhead and below waist level.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
  • Willingness to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist as necessary.
  • Adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Comfortable using computers and smart devices.
  • Access to the internet and daily email checking.

Compensation and Benefits
