Position Summary:
This role is pivotal in managing and executing marketing strategies for a portfolio of generic injectable pharmaceuticals through thorough research, strategic planning, and effective implementation. The position is accountable for achieving various business objectives, including strategic initiatives, tactical projects, and financial performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties
1. Oversee the profitability of the generic injectable pharmaceutical portfolio and collaborate effectively with Global Marketing.
2. Develop, implement, and monitor marketing programs aimed at maintaining and enhancing market share and profitability.
3. Formulate and execute launch plans for new or updated products, devise strategies to boost market share for existing offerings, and assist in the planning and communication for product phase-outs.
4. Assess the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
5. Participate in the planning of sales promotions and special events, including conferences, trade shows, and user meetings.
6. Organize and execute the launch of new products.
7. Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment towards product launch timelines.
8. Maintain a proactive field travel schedule to engage with customers, sales personnel, inventors, and consultants.
9. Manage product launch marketing budgets and oversee execution of launch activities.

Strong capability to communicate complex ideas through written, visual, and verbal means, with a focus on the rationale behind all actions – from broad strategic presentations to detailed product specifications.
