Job Title: Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary:
TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide rotational support for our clinics with "Hands On" technical support and training.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor tickets, by clinic, to detect trends in technology issues and work with the SD Corporate team to implement solutions.
• Ensure that the Tier 1 vendor is providing timely resolution to tickets.
• Provide technical support for various IT issues end users may be experiencing.
• Install equipment and assist with new hires.
• Assist with network teams, terminations, hardware/software support, and remote support.

Requirements:
• 2-5 years Help Desk experience and proven experience documenting ticket detail to support development of knowledge-based articles for Tier 1.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred.
• Valid state Driver's License for travel to satellite offices and offsite meetings.
• Compliance with the company Driver Safety Operations and Motor Vehicle Records Check Policy is required.
• Experience with Manage engine desktop central for imaging, Citrix, Imprivata, Global Protect VPN, and Direct Access VPN.
• Experience with Freshservice ticketing system and Active Directory.
• ITIL, Microsoft, MAC, Citrix, UniPrint, and other relevant certifications are preferred.

Work Environment:
This position requires the employee to travel to designated regional clinics to support daily technical operational issues, as required. The employee will be reporting to one main site and will be handling escalated tickets from the help desk. The employee will be responsible for monitoring tickets, by clinic, to detect trends in technology issues and work with the SD Corporate team to implement solutions. The employee will also be responsible for ensuring that the Tier 1 vendor is providing timely resolution to tickets.
