Job Summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is a leading provider of addiction treatment services, serving over 30,000 patients daily across the country. We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise all aspects of patient treatment, from admission to discharge.
  • Provide comprehensive psychological therapy and substance abuse counseling, including family and group therapy.
  • Coordinate care and ensure completion of patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, and other documentation.
  • Assess and place patients in treatment phases, update clinical documentation, and counsel patients in crisis situations.
  • Refer patients to community resources when needed, participate in case conferences and reviews, and stay informed on regulations regarding confidentiality and counseling certification.
  • Submit correspondence for review, lead group counseling sessions, and conduct drug screenings.
  • Collect necessary documentation from patients, submit statistical reports, attend meetings, and complete training promptly.
Requirements
  • LCADC, CADC, CSW, LSW, CPC, LPCC, or Psychiatrist/other licensed professional.
  • Individual with a bachelor's degree meeting specific criteria.
