Diagnostic Imaging Specialist
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Veracity. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues using computerized tomography equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
* Perform regular warm-up sequences on the CT scanner to prolong the life of the X-ray tubes
* Sterilize radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
* Correctly interpret doctors' written scanning instructions
* Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
* Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
**Requirements**
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
* CT Technologist RN
* CT Technologist Traveler
* CT technologist
**Work Environment**
You will be working in an acute care hospital, ER, and Level IV trauma center with an intensive care unit and outpatient services. The hospital has 10 BED ED with 2 dedicated TRAUMA bays and 25 bed to service MedSurg and IMC.
