Genie Healthcare is actively seeking a travel nurse RN specializing in Med Surg for an exciting travel nursing opportunity.
Position Overview- Specialty: Med Surg
- Discipline: RN
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Weekly Hours: 48 hours
- Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
- Employment Type: Travel
This position requires a shift from 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must possess a valid NJ or Compact license at the time of application. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is necessary, with specific experience in Med Surg.
Additional requirements include:
- Competency in Peritoneal Dialysis
- Floating within skillset
- Availability for every other weekend
- ACLS and OCN certifications preferred
- BLS and NIH certifications required
- Experience with Cerner charting is advantageous
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:7, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply. Scrubs of any color are acceptable, but candidates must maintain clean and short nails, with no fake nails permitted. The campus is a nicotine-free environment, and a flu vaccine is mandatory.
