Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

Strata Med, located at the prestigious Garden of the Gods Resort and Club, is seeking an experienced Echo Technologist to join our dynamic clinical services team. In this role, you will provide on-site transthoracic echocardiograms to patients in partnership with our clients.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual to work with us approximately 1 day per week, offering a unique opportunity to our patients with our integrated wellness approach to care. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for delivering direct patient care with top-of-scope ultrasound procedures, embracing a team approach for exceptional outcomes, and conducting patient history reviews, managing scheduling, and educating patients on procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering direct patient care with top-of-scope ultrasound procedures
  • Embracing a team approach for exceptional outcomes
  • Conducting patient history reviews, managing scheduling, and educating patients on procedures
  • Monitoring patient conditions, adjusting imaging parameters for optimal results, and managing contrast media/medications as needed
  • Upholding safety standards, performing equipment QC, troubleshooting malfunctions, and executing imaging procedures with precision
  • Enhancing skills through mentoring and embracing new knowledge in a fast-paced setting
  • Ensuring safety and quality at every point of care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound program
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - Adult (AE) from ARDMS or equivalent
  • Vascular Technologist (RVT) from ARDMS or equivalent
  • Advanced certifications a plus
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Must be a registered sonographer
  • BLS certified through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an indoor setting with overhead lighting and comfortable ventilation. May occasionally be called upon to work in all areas of the property, both inside and outside, possibly in inclement weather.
