Job Title: Cardiac Sonographer

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Cardiac Sonographer to provide top-notch patient care and contribute to our multidisciplinary team. As a Cardiac Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform echocardiograms and other diagnostic tests to evaluate cardiac function and structure
  • Interpret test results and provide accurate diagnoses
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Provide patient education and counseling on test results and treatment options
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and test results
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Required licensure/certification: Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
  • State licensure if required by law
  • Minimum experience: None required
