This position is part of Trane Technologies' Life Sciences Portfolio, specifically supporting Helmer Scientific. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing repetitive assembly tasks using basic hand tools to build temperature-controlled storage units, refrigerators/freezers, and thawing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Assembly and Quality Control: Perform repetitive assembly tasks using basic hand tools to build temperature-controlled storage units, refrigerators/freezers, and thawing systems.
- Cleaning and Packing: Clean and pack units as required.
- Quality Testing and Inspections: Perform quality testing and inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Record measurements as needed and ensure that device history records are completed according to FDA GMP requirements.
- Team Collaboration: Promote Helmer values by actively participating in Continuous Improvement practices and engaging with team initiatives.
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of general assembly experience.
- Skills: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, make timely and appropriate decisions based on standards, complete own work with little to no supervision, and follow established procedures.
The work environment is temperature-controlled, and the physical requirements may vary based on the area of work. The ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch for the duration of the shift is required, as well as the use of hands to carry, feel, and grasp parts and machinery and lifting up to 30 pounds.
