Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Travel Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Providence Newberg Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular exams
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and results
Requirements
  • Current ARRT certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • 2+ years of experience in ultrasound imaging, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
