Job Summary

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at MFSTalent, you will play a critical role in conducting diagnostic ultrasound procedures to capture optimal images for diagnostic purposes. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring accurate results and enhancing image quality.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct diagnostic ultrasound procedures on various parts of the body, such as the abdomen, pelvis, obstetrics, vascular system, and soft tissues.
Position patients correctly to capture optimal images for diagnostic purposes.
Adjust equipment settings to enhance image quality and ensure accurate results.
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, addressing concerns, and ensuring comfort.
Review patient medical histories and ensure the correct exam is being performed.
Apply ultrasound gel and operate the transducer to obtain clear and accurate images.
Capture and analyze images during the exam and identify any abnormalities or areas of concern.
Record observations and communicate findings to the radiologist or referring physician.
Ensure proper documentation of all performed scans and maintain patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Min 2 years' experience will accept 1st time traveler
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) for vascular sonography.
Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) for cardiac ultrasound.
