Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Adventist Health in Templeton, California. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
  • Provide occupational therapy services, including exercises, activities, and education to promote independence and functional ability
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordination
  • Document patient progress and outcomes to inform treatment decisions and quality improvement initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to maintain expertise and provide evidence-based care
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California
  • Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association accredited Occupational Therapy degree program
  • Experience working with adult and geriatric populations, preferably in a hospital setting
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow instructions, work quickly and accurately, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
