Job Summary

The Gabriel South Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our team. Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Manage the hotel's accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including vendor management and customer invoicing.
  • Perform financial analysis and reporting, including variance analysis and budgeting.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including tax laws and financial reporting regulations.
  • Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the hotel's management team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA certification.
  • Experience with financial software, including accounting and payroll systems.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and financial systems.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
