Role Summary: The Community Activities Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by organizing and facilitating a diverse range of activities and programs. This position will be based in our community and will involve collaboration with residents to develop engaging experiences that cater to their physical, spiritual, social, and emotional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of a well-rounded activity program that prioritizes resident engagement.
  • Plan and execute a variety of activities, catering to both small and large groups of residents.
  • Encourage resident participation and provide support during activities.
  • Ensure activity areas are well-organized and equipped with necessary supplies.
  • Document resident participation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate with local vendors and businesses for special events and catering services.
  • Manage social media content related to community activities.
  • Transport residents to off-site activities using a company vehicle.

Resident Interaction:

  • Monitor and document changes in residents' physical and behavioral conditions.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, addressing their feedback and requests promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of resident information at all times.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and risk management policies.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in a senior living environment or related field.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to facilitate group activities.
  • Proficient in organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid driver's license is required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Regular travel between properties is expected to support community activities.
