Key Responsibilities:

  • Set occupational therapy treatment objectives utilizing both dynamic and standardized assessment methods.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to develop integrated treatment plans and strategies.
  • Deliver individualized therapy sessions, as well as group or co-treatment sessions with other disciplines when therapeutically appropriate.
  • Maintain comprehensive patient records, documentation, and billing in accordance with federal and state regulations and company policies to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Implement play-based and goal-oriented interventions to enhance sensory processing, regulation, and skill development in daily activities.
  • Create engaging and functional experiences to achieve personalized goals.
  • Develop strategies and supports to facilitate greater participation in daily living activities.
  • Work collaboratively with individuals and families to understand their values, interests, and aspirations.
  • Design programming that addresses all facets of the child, including sensorimotor, cognitive, communicative, recreational, and social activities.
  • Contribute to the development of programs.
  • Educate patients, families, team members, and caregivers on home programs that complement therapeutic interventions.
  • Anticipate delivering a minimum of 27 hours of direct patient care weekly, excluding time allocated for training, documentation, and administrative meetings.
  • Occasionally required to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; reasonable accommodations may be provided for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
  • Team members may need to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds on occasion.
Qualifications:
  • A master's degree in a relevant field.
  • A current and unrestricted license and/or certification necessary for practice within your clinical area, with the ability to obtain cross-state licensure as required by business needs.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • A desire to work in a collaborative clinical environment.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn.
  • An appreciation for a diverse range of therapeutic approaches.
  • A passion for working with children.
  • Proficiency in using software and systems, including electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Preferably knowledgeable about HIPAA regulations to protect patient information.

The base salary range for this position is $85,600 to $107,000. Your compensation will be determined based on your skill level, relevant experience, education, and location.
