Job SummaryThis part-time position is responsible for assisting patients and radiology staff in the MRI department. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Assist patients with MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Prepare patients for exams, position them correctly, and ensure their safety during the procedure.
- Assist with minor procedures, such as contrast injections, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Compile and prepare radiology exams for reading by radiologists, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including stocking supplies, maintaining records, and responding to patient inquiries.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of specialized or technical training in diagnostic imaging or a related field.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull forces up to 50 pounds.
