Overview

Learning Services, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner, is a dynamic organization dedicated to providing exceptional neurological rehabilitation to adults with brain injury. Our team is committed to excellence, honesty, and ethics in the treatment of our clients and each other.

We have developed programs to meet the diverse needs of clients with moderate to severe traumatic and acquired brain injuries. Our services include treatment for post-concussion syndrome, stroke, memory loss, neurobehavioral issues, and accident or sports-related head injuries.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care services to individuals with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.
  • Administer behavioral training and interventions designed to modify residents' behavior.
  • Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, transfers, toileting, and physical assistance.
  • Transport residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, and educational activities in the community.
  • Administer residents' medication programs.
  • Interact with residents' family and visitors in the facility and on home visits.
  • Complete all daily needed documentation, including behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports.
  • Complete all housekeeping chores, including laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.
Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or GED is required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and maintain responsible driving behaviors.
  • Competence in writing, planning, organization, and documentation, as well as time management skills, are required.
  • The ability to communicate with families, professionals, and co-workers is essential.
  • The ability to demonstrate positive client interaction skills is critical.
