Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator is tasked with providing essential support and information to applicants, employees, and the HR team. This role involves welcoming and assisting visitors and staff, managing databases, and promoting best HR practices that align with the company's evolving requirements and collaborative structure. This position is vital in representing the company's distinctive culture.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts data entry tasks
  • Maintains personnel files in HRIS (ADP)
  • Assists employees and job candidates with inquiries
  • Handles phone calls and directs them appropriately
  • Ensures a clean, inviting reception area
  • Facilitates the online employment application process
  • Distributes employee information, manuals, and communications
  • Supports employment verification and paycheck distribution
  • Assists in planning and executing company events
  • Contributes to employee recognition programs
  • Tracks and manages company-branded employee gift items
  • Facilitates employee training activities

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent/GED
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Adept at receiving and conveying information accurately

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in administration or HR
  • Familiarity with ADP

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Work Environment:

This position primarily involves office work, with occasional transitions to a plant or shop environment requiring the use of appropriate protective gear based on environmental conditions (disclaimer: Reasonable accommodations may be available for individuals with disabilities).
