Job Summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at our Sioux Falls Center. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN)
  • Assist residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and other personal care needs
  • Collect non-invasive body fluid specimens and gather vital signs
  • Participate in departmental/organization committees and task forces as needed
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required
  • Minimum age of 16
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position
