Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the daily financial activities of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, auditing, and internal control frameworks.
  • Compile and deliver financial reports to senior leadership, offering insights and recommendations to enhance business performance.
  • Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal financial regulations and standards.
  • Facilitate and lead the annual audit process, coordinating with external auditors and managing the relationship.
  • Direct the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring precision and punctuality.
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies, policies, and procedures to align with the company's growth goals.
  • Assess and analyze the financial performance of the organization, reporting on financial risks and opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous enhancement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is advantageous.
  • CPA certification is strongly preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a finance leadership capacity, ideally within the manufacturing sector.
  • Experience with a Big 4 firm is highly regarded.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
  • Proficient in financial software and advanced MS Excel capabilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly and succinctly.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving abilities.
  • High integrity and reliability with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented mindset.
