Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to assist our veterinarians in the care and treatment of emergency cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in veterinary care and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in the care and treatment of emergency cases
- Perform diagnostic tests, including in-house blood work and radiographs
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
- Communicate with pet owners about the condition and treatment plan for their animals
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the emergency clinic
- Assist with patient intake and discharge procedures
- Restock and organize medical supplies and equipment
Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or equivalent certification
- Associate's Degree (or other 2-year degree)

- Overnight and weekend shifts to start with plans to expand to 24/7 services within 6-12 months.
