Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator provides leadership through collaboration with the Director/Designee, planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating patient care. This role requires a strong understanding of patient needs, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs. The Clinical Nurse Coordinator performs delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and functions within the philosophy and overall plan of care at Swedish Medical Center.

Responsibilities
  • Fiscal, human resource, and operational functions
  • Direct patient care and charge nurse responsibilities
  • Counseling and guidance of personnel
  • Leadership role with the health team in planning and delivery of patient care
Requirements
  • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multistate nursing licensure
  • Current BCLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
  • Bachelor Science Nursing or Bachelor's degree in health-related field required
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical RN experience preferred
  • Two years progressive supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred
