Job Summary
Mercy Health is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Cardiothoracic Surgery team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care and support under the direction of a licensed professional
- Assist with patient education and coordination of care
- Administer medications and vaccinations within scope
- Document patient medical records and vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) licensure or Medical Assistant certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 1 year of clinical patient care experience (preferred)
