Location: Not specified

Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension based on client requirements)

Work Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee the efficient movement and processing of components across various programs to adhere to customer delivery timelines.
  • Maintain production and inventory management systems with precise and timely updates to ensure data integrity and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Organize and coordinate tasks across manufacturing sectors to maximize resource efficiency and meet established schedules.
  • Work collaboratively with support teams to address pending work orders and manage work order divisions in conjunction with inspection teams.
  • Formulate and execute daily work schedules, short-term capacity strategies, and production plans in collaboration with other departments.
  • Resolve immediate capacity issues by adjusting staffing levels, managing overtime, optimizing machine usage, and rerouting tasks as necessary.
  • Generate customer status updates, respond to inquiries regarding shipping information, and ensure proper packaging to mitigate damage risks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Four years of experience in dispatching, shop scheduling, or production planning within a computerized manufacturing system or proven capability to fulfill the responsibilities outlined.
  • Expertise in MRP and APICS methodologies.
  • Familiarity with AMAPS is advantageous.
  • Proficient computer skills are essential.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes, routing, travelers, and technical drawings.
  • Ability to provide effective leadership and training within a team setting.
  • Physical capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and contribute positively as a team member.
