About the Role

As a Mechanical Engineering Manager at Swanson Rink, Inc., you will lead a team of mechanical engineers to support specific clients. Your primary responsibility will be to understand all technical areas of a market segment and direct the work of the team in that market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the mechanical engineering design to ensure projects are completed on time, accurately, and in accordance with good engineering practices and client criteria.
  • Lead the coordination of the project deliverables along with the Project Management team, BIM team, and other project team members to ensure the projects meet the client's expectations.
  • Participate in scope and fee development for new project opportunities and contribute to the preparation of proposal documents.

Requirements
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited four-year college or university.
  • Successful performance at this career level typically requires years of verifiable professional experience in the area of mechanical engineering.
  • Registration as a Professional Engineer.
  • Establishment of an NCEES Record is required upon hire.
  • Must be available to travel occasionally.
  • Requires the ability to pass background checks, security screenings, or drug testing as required by our clients and/or Federal contracts.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
