Overview:
As a Clinical Trial Support Specialist at Javara, you will play a crucial role in the organization and management of clinical research studies. Reporting directly to the Site Operations Manager and the Principal Investigator or their delegate, your focus will be on facilitating patient enrollment and ensuring the highest standards of quality and integrity in research practices. Your commitment to participant safety will guide your efforts in implementing and coordinating research protocols effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enhance the patient experience while prioritizing safety at all times.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare partners, investigators, sponsors, and vendors.
- Contribute to enrollment objectives by developing effective strategies and fostering positive relationships with local patient communities.
- Assist in identifying and recruiting patients as necessary.
- Strengthen collaborative relationships with colleagues, patients, investigators, and both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain the scientific integrity of data by accurately recording source data, including patient visit information, within relevant systems and ensuring timely resolution of queries.
- Ensure that study documentation is current and ready for audits.
- Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Clinical Practices (GCPs), study protocols, OSHA regulations, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support the informed consent process through thorough documentation.
- Commit to ongoing learning and skill development related to clinical trial operations and enhancing the patient experience.
- Coordinate and schedule patient visits, ensuring adherence to study protocols.
- Assist in performing clinical and laboratory tasks, including obtaining vital signs, conducting EKGs, and managing bodily sample collection, processing, and shipping.

- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
