Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician 3 to join our team at Northrop Grumman's Armament Systems in Plymouth, MN. As a key member of our team, you will work with internal programs to build Mechanical and Electrical devices, including soldering, potting, wiring, and using multi-meters and oscilloscopes. You will also collaborate directly with Engineers to ensure the highest quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with internal programs to build Mechanical and Electrical devices
  • Soldering, potting, wiring, and using multi-meters and oscilloscopes
  • Collaborate directly with Engineers to ensure the highest quality of our products
  • Requires a minimum of 4 years of experience with a High School degree
  • Previous experience using testing equipment, such as Multimeters, oscilloscopes, soldering equipment, and laser welder preferred
  • Solder certified; J-Standard
  • Posses electrical component understanding; such as, the ability to read drawings and schematics
  • Previous experience gathering, maintaining, and compiling technical data
  • Able to read engineering documentation and reports
  • Must be a US Citizen
Preferred Skills
  • Electrical Tech degree or certification
  • Knowledge or experience with explosives or energetic assembly and test
  • Capable to safely operate equipment that is designed or modified for the build and test munitions
Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $60,100 - $100,100, as well as a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
