Position Summary: The Logistics Operations Supervisor will oversee the seamless functioning of our warehouse activities, ensuring optimal performance in all inbound and outbound processes while driving continuous improvement initiatives aligned with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team leaders to guarantee that all products are inspected, received, tested, calibrated, and stored efficiently using our Warehouse Management System.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure that products are readily available for picking, packing, and shipping, maintaining high-quality standards and meeting daily delivery targets.
  • Work closely with the Inventory team to promptly rectify any discrepancies or errors in inventory and address root causes effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, particularly those concerning Power Industrial Trucks, and maintain updated ISO procedures.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of operational KPIs and related performance metrics.
  • Utilize advanced MS Excel skills to analyze data sets, generate short-term forecasts, track multi-order shipments, and support special projects.
  • Manage, inspire, and train a team of eight to ten Supervisors and Leads.
  • Act as the primary contact for priority orders and urgent shipments during weekends.
  • Maintain a safe and organized working environment across all facilities.
  • Engage effectively with Customer Service, Export, Domestic, and Rentals Departments on a daily basis.
  • Document and assist in troubleshooting issues related to our Warehouse Management System.
  • Perform additional warehouse and operational tasks as required.

Supervisory Duties: Responsible for approximately eight direct reports and thirty indirect reports.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of five years of experience in a Senior Warehouse Management role, with additional experience in production or light assembly preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced Excel, along with experience in SAP B1 and Warehouse Management Systems.

Physical Requirements: The role may involve occasional physical tasks within the warehouse and office environments.

Work Environment: The position is based in warehouse and office settings, with occasional travel to vendor sites as necessary.
