MedQuest is hiring a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist

About the Job

This position involves working as an MRI technologist in our outpatient imaging centers, where you will be responsible for operating MRI scanners and performing diagnostic tests to help identify and monitor health conditions.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in medical imaging technology to join our team. As an MRI technologist at MedQuest, you will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners and perform diagnostic tests on patients of all ages
  • Position patients comfortably and safely for scans, taking into account their physical and emotional needs
  • Follow strict protocols and guidelines for image acquisition and processing
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient results and develop treatment plans
  • Provide exceptional patient care and communication, addressing concerns and answering questions in a clear and empathetic manner
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
  • Certificate from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
  • At least 2 years of experience in MRI operations, preferably in an outpatient setting
  • Strong knowledge of MRI technology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift and move patients and equipment as needed
