The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in supporting various manufacturing sectors by executing repairs, diagnostics, and preventive upkeep on packaging machinery within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quickly and accurately diagnose significant issues with packaging machinery.
- Conduct routine preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment.
- Work closely with maintenance supervisors to develop strategies that enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure sufficient inventory of spare parts to maintain packaging machinery.
- Regularly assess machine performance, identify problems, and propose technological enhancements.
- Respond promptly and effectively to equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with mechanical duties typically performed by millwrights and pipefitters.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in industrial maintenance or mechanics.
- Understanding of industrial maintenance concepts and technical skills to address mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation challenges.
- Basic math skills and computer proficiency.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
