Job Description

Ryder is seeking a dedicated solo non-CDL truck driver to join our team in North Wales, PA. As a truck driver with Ryder, you will be responsible for safely driving a vehicle within a 80-mile radius of North Wales, PA, and delivering freight to customers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
  • Drive a vehicle within a 80-mile radius of North Wales, PA, and deliver freight to customers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, continuous training, and customer service.
  • Load and unload freight, and assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer.
  • Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience.
  • Pass a Ryder drug test.
  • Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment.
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures.
