Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at Ryder System Inc. in North Wales, PA. As a Dedicated Solo Non CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely driving a vehicle within an 80-mile radius of North Wales, PA, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a vehicle within an 80-mile radius of North Wales, PA, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and customer service standards.
  • Load and unload freight, and assist in the loading/unloading of freight if required by the customer.
  • Ensure accurate records are maintained, and detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 9 months of verifiable driving experience.
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test.
  • Must have verifiable driving experience in like equipment.
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check, including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
  • Pass a DOT physical.
  • Pass a Ryder road test.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and/or procedures.
