As a therapist at New Roads, you will manage a diverse caseload, serving as the primary therapist for your clients. Your responsibilities will include conducting individual, group, and family therapy sessions, performing insurance reviews for ongoing care, and completing assessments to establish diagnoses and recommend appropriate levels of care.

Our therapists benefit from participation in a DBT consultation team, providing essential support and professional development. You will have access to comprehensive training throughout the year, ensuring that you can meet your continuing education requirements without incurring personal costs. New Roads is committed to investing in its therapists by offering a variety of training opportunities, certifications, and supervision in various therapeutic modalities, including Comprehensive DBT, EMDR, ACT, EX/RP, and PE, with many sessions led by in-house certified trainers.

Client Demographics:

Our clientele primarily consists of young adults facing a range of mental health challenges from diverse backgrounds. We emphasize continuity of care, allowing you to support your clients through various treatment levels, from residential to outpatient services.

Qualifications:

Education:

Master's Degree in a relevant field

Current licensure in the state of Utah: CSW, LCSW, ACMHC, CMHC, MFT

CPR, First Aid, and AEGIS Training (provided by New Roads, with ongoing training to maintain current certifications)
