About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our electrical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on a wide range of equipment and systems, including PLCs, variable frequency drives, and electrical panels.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in a timely and efficient manner, minimizing downtime and ensuring the safety of our team members.
  • Develop and implement best practices for electrical maintenance, including preventative and predictive maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance technicians, operators, and supervisors to resolve electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Train and lead other team members on electrical procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of electrical systems and equipment, including schematics and maintenance records.
Requirements
  • 6+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, with a focus on industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including PLCs, variable frequency drives, and electrical panels.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues, including root cause analysis.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with other team members and supervisors.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in a related field preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in electrical maintenance, with a focus on industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with Allen Bradley, B&R, or Siemens PLC systems.
  • Experience with electrical systems, including 480VAC and 24VDC power.
  • Knowledge of RSLogix 5000, SIMATIC Step 7, and Factory Talk Studio.
  • Ability to read and interpret process and instrumentation diagrams.
