Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team at KinderCare Education. As a Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and supporting the growth and development of our centers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Implementation: Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child, promoting a love of learning and a strong foundation for future academic success.
  • Classroom Environment: Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn, fostering a sense of community and belonging among students and staff.
  • Parent Partnerships: Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the educational process.
  • Center Success: Support your center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Community Relations: Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners, promoting a culture of collaboration and mutual respect.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certification: Meet state specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain, including a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or equivalent.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical Demands: Physically able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, and work indoors or outdoors, with the ability to assume postures in low levels to allow physical and visual contact with children.
  • Language Skills: Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English.
