Overview

MedConnect is seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in the Pacific Northwest. Our Level IV trauma center provides a unique blend of big city medicine and a hometown touch, making it an ideal location for professionals seeking a balanced lifestyle.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a very competitive total compensation opportunity, including:

  • $350k+ annual salary
  • Quality incentives up to $50,000
  • RVU bonus based on annual threshold
  • Commencement bonus of $20,000
  • $8,000 annual CME, licensing, dues, subscription
  • Student loan repayment

Additionally, we provide full benefits, including a 401k match and paid malpractice.

Job Description

This role requires a reliable, compassionate, and flexible physician who can work effectively with our supportive and caring team. The ideal candidate will have ties to the region or be seeking a rural practice environment and be comfortable living and practicing in a small community.

Professional Details

The successful candidate will work 71-24-hour shifts per year, which equates to roughly six 24-hour shifts per month. We offer nurse practitioner support during peak hours and approximately 34-38 patients per 24-hour shift. Our hospital has zero travel nurses during pandemic periods.

We are located in a beautiful Pacific Northwest community nestled in the eastern foothills of the Blue Mountains. The area offers numerous outdoor activities, including biking, hiking, alpine lakes, skiing, rock climbing, water sports, hunting, fishing, and bird watching. Nearby attractions include the Mt. Emily Recreation Area, Ladd Marsh Nature Trail and Wildlife Area, Historic Hot Lake Springs, and the Wallowa Lake Recreation Area.
