About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at LHC Group. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

As a Critical Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals requiring end-of-life support. Your expertise and clinical skills will enable you to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • To provide comprehensive care to patients with life-limiting illnesses, focusing on pain and symptom management, emotional support, and spiritual care.
  • To work closely with healthcare professionals, family members, and caregivers to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • To conduct initial assessments, reassessments, and ongoing evaluations to ensure the highest quality of care.
  • To communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN licensure in the state of practice and one year of clinical experience.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is $75,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), continuing education opportunities, and employee assistance programs.
