As a Thoracic Surgery Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and promote a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients on the Thoracic Intermediate Surgical unit.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Current LTP and Thoracic experience required.
  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
