Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Procurement Specialist to support our Accounting Team. The successful candidate will assist in the procurement of goods and services necessary for company operations. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Midtown Sacramento, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment for company operations.
  2. Collect required documents for vendor onboarding, such as W-9s, ACH instructions, and Certificates of Insurance.
  3. Support the creation and processing of purchase orders (POs).
  4. Collaborate with operational teams to confirm goods receipt and assist in recording item receipts to ensure accurate 3-way PO matching for invoices.
  5. Monitor order statuses, ensure timely deliveries, and address any vendor-related issues.
  6. Communicate effectively with suppliers, accounts payable, and internal stakeholders to facilitate purchasing activities.
  7. Ensure adherence to company purchasing policies and procedures.
  8. Provide administrative support to the Lead Purchaser and team as needed.
