Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Security Installation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, servicing, and inspecting security systems, including access control, IP video, and fire systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and inspect security systems, including access control, IP video, and fire systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects
  • Service, maintain, and test security systems
  • Work on commercial accounts and participate in on-call rotations
Requirements
  • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
  • Must be able to lift up to 30lbs of weight, carry tools, and ladders
  • Must be comfortable working on ladders
  • OSHA 10 certification (we can assist in providing this training if hired)
  • Candidates may be subject to a drug test and background check
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Maintain a clean work environment and work vehicle
  • Effective troubleshooting and communication skills
Qualifications
  • Experience in installing and servicing security alarm systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire alarm
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and understanding schematics for system design and installation
  • Knowledge of low-voltage systems and computer hardware related to security systems
  • Familiarity with alarm system sales and service technician experience
  • Ability to work with computer networking and read blueprints for system installations
  • Background in construction, telecommunications, and locksmithing is a plus
  • Understanding of NEC codes and regulations related to security alarm systems is a plus
